Need some opinion on which lens to buy??

I am curently using the D70s with kit lens, and getting kind of handicapped by the max aperature and focal length. So I'm thinkin of getting some better lens. However I'm stuck between getting these two choices.

• Stay with D70s kit lens + buy 50mm f1.8D and 2nd hand Nikon 80-200mm AF (not AFS) f/2.8 D
• Sell off the kit lens and wait for the AF-S DX VR 18-200MM F/3.5-5.6G IF-ED

Also quite limited by vitamin M:cry:
Need some advice from the more experience nikonian here.

well, mostly candids, portraits and landscape........

50mm f1.8D is useful for portraits and it is quite affordable. Go for it.
