Good day,

Everytime i turn it on, The liveview mode open.

I observe that my mirror stuck up on upward position. By turning it on and removing my lens. The mirror automatically when upward position?

Which is not the case before.

thanks.

Try reset the camera to default. That may help

This is the Life View mode. Please consult your camera manual for further explanations. Do check whether you might have accidentally changed a setting that activates Life View mode upon switching on.

Just to update you guys i tried to reset it thru qual + +/- button but no result.

and to inform you also even the menu button i cant access.

thanks for reply guys.

Time to make a visit to NSC

Yeah... Just swing by Nikon Service Center and get them to have a look.

Does your LCd show 'ERR'?

Similar to this?

Nikon D7000 Err Message Mirror Stuck
Alright, really quick. I was using my Nikon D7000 for a great shoot and everything was going great until at one point the battery ran out while I was shooting video in Live View and then boom "Err" message.

This came up because my mirror was stuck. Lots of people say you need to send it back to Nikon, but I plugged in a new battery, and shot a picture (to reset the mirror) and all was good.

So if you get this message and your mirror is stuck, just try putting in a new battery and click the shutter button to reset the mirror. It just might work.

Alright that's it for now. Thanks for reading. Hope this helps out some peeps.

Two similar-sounding cases with suggestions that seem to have worked for some (explore at your own risk!):

I just had a similar problem on my D5100 and was advised to send it back for repair. After comparing mine side by side to another at a camera shop, (remove lens and with camera on press shutter release button) the lower right corner of the mirror was binding with the stop. We were able to GENTLY pry the lower right corner of the mirror away from the stop (from the right, not underneath) and now it is functioning flawlessly.

Make sure you depress the live view lever completely. Although this may sound dumb, be sure you have the camera turned on when you push the live view lever. Have you tried to do a reset all settings? What about pulling out the battery and putting it back in? Just some suggestions.
