i have been thinking for some weeks or even mths now.
i have two senarios here, pls advice me which is better.

1)camera alone,1 metre away from subject(bee on flower),zoom in.
2)camera with two +4 close up,1 metre away from subject(bee on flower),zoom in.

my idea is macros so does the two +4 filters capture more details even while i'm in that range of 1 metre?

another question is i'm using S602z,i have two lens adapters,55-52mm and 55-55mm,which size filters should i buy?
been thinking since i wanted closeup, meaning i need to stack,i should go for the 55mm one.wat do you think?

scenario 2 is not possible. when you have close-up filters attached, you have to focus closer. with a +4, you can only focus around 25cm (100/4) from the subject with the len at full zoom. with 2 +4 or a +8, you can only focus around 12.5 cm (100/8) from the subject. When you're closer, the subject is magnified accordingly.

oic...thanks for the reply.

does that means i dun need closeup?
or one is enough?
but i want very details of insects.
any idea how this can be done at a distance with out disturbing the subject?
saw super ray's gallery using A70 with closeup filter and was very very impressed.wanted to achieve something like that...
