hey guys,

i own a d80 with a sigma 18-50 f2.8 ex dc lens, as well as a F100.
the problem is i like using F100, just that the lens is digital cut.

should i sell off my d80 with the sigma and raise money for 2 nikon afd primes ( 50mm and 28mm)?

Just choose which you like more. Film or digital and head that direction.

hmmz cause i only got that sigma dx lens. my other lens are crappy

If you want to go along the digital line, you still can buy those lenses.

Oooh, you mean you are using an APS-C lens. Ok, i get it now.

Well, why not invest in a cheap digital body?

Hmm... why do you prefer F100 over the D80? Is it because the built and handling, or you prefer to shoot film? If your preference is the former then one option is to sell away both the F100 and D80 and get a 2nd hand D200. You'll get the same or better built/handling, and can keep your sigma 18-50/2.8dc.

Yeah, I think he means its a crop sensor lens.

To TS,
Is selling your digital stuff worth it over a F100? Going FF and selling your existing stuff sounds like a costly venture. Its probably cheaper to find a 2nd hand MF 28, 50mm for your F100. I'm not too sure abt Nikon, but if there is a M42 mount adapter available, you may want to consider that, so that it gives you an option to use cheap and good old lenses for both cameras.

thanks guys. i think i will give up the idea of selling my d80 for a while.
