hi all!

ive got a few prints i'd like to do and frame up for display and i need to find out more about this whole issue.

1. where can i go to get decent digital prints done at around A3 size, apart from the kodac/fujifilm places?

2. lets say i've got an image that's 2048px x 1360px. whats the largest that i can blow that up to without compromising on the quality?

3. does it really matter if it's 300 dpi?

thanks for the help, really appreciate it. cheers!

I have printed around 180dpi before and it looks ok. But I think you should not go below that as I think you may not like the output.

2048 / 20 = 10 inches
1360 / 20 = 6 inches

10x6 inches....if you are lucky. The closest you can go is 8R which is 10 x 8.
Quality would be compromise though. =)

Bencoolen Street, directly opp NAFA. they have aaalottttttttttt of printing shops. i only went there though. another one i read through this forum that CSers love is Miaao Lan (not sure how the name is spelt) try a search on this forum. :)
