need pointers on firefox quick

while surfing on CS, the pages juz refuse to load, tried clickin refresh and still the same. so i juz closed all the opened browsers. when i dbl clicked on firefox, it prompts me to choos a user for surfin. i initially juz clicked on default, but it says couldnt load cos its in use. so i created another one, and now all my bookmarks are gone.
any help?

try this...open up task manager, click on the Process tab, look for any instance of firefox.exe and click on the End Process Button on the bottom right hand corner to end that process.

i cant seem to find anywhere, where i can load up my previous firefox prfile which has all my bookmarks in it. if there is such a thing in the first place...
