need help regarding dry box

I would like to check , recently i just bought a dry box ( using GEL type ) , my humidity % was around 30 and below and i went to find out the best % is around 40 to 50 , how do i maintain around 40-50 range ?????

put a piece of wet towel inside the dry box. Adjust moisture accordingly.

40-45% is not a hard and fast rule. In other country where humidity is lower than Singapore, RH is between 30-40%. So if yours is 30% which is bit on the low side, adjust by taking out more of the silica gel. Otherwise just leave it as you would probably take out your camera to shoot more.:cool:

Take out some of the pieces and put them in another air tight container. Or else when you want to use them, they will be full of water and be useless.

i usually fill the gel compartment around 1/2++ of the capacity to get RH readings around 40-50% and usually after 2 weeks the RH will rise to 55-60%
