You didn't follow the instructions right... All you want is the jpeg link.

Yes, you can upload multiple pics at once. And, I'm pretty sure the issue is because you have copied the wrong code or forget to copy and just paste :)

I'm still a newbie here too...But at a glance, I believe your horizons are slanted (can't be sure about the 1st one...).

Composition wise, I will leave it to the experts to comment on it :)

btw, for shot #2, it's a scene that have been "shot to death", so you may be able to find some good ones in the pic galleries for reference and point improvement

Tks.. Point noted juz tat dun understand wat u mean by "shot to death"?:)

In other words, everyone and their bro/sis/cousins/friends/best friend/boyfriend/girlfriend/ah kong/ etc have already shot the exact same shot and posted it up here. It feels like the 500th time we've seen that shot.

Oh... Haha.. I get it now :)

for the first picture, you might want to work on the 'extra space' at the bottom.

whatever you shoot, you want the surroundings to complement or direct attention to the main subject(s). this can be done in a number of ways. try reading up on the rule of thirds, which is one of the best starting points. another thing you can try to look out for is 'wasted space' which doesnt add anything to the picture and may distract the viewer or even offset the composition and make it look awkward.

you can also considering shooting in black and white. this is a good trick to cut out distractions, especially when you want to bring out fine detail and involve the viewer. i do it when colours clash, distract, or are just plain ugly. haha. you know you are getting better with composition when your image no longer needs colour to make it look attractive. im not saying that colour is bad or black and white is 'the way' to go. to each is own. but i find that a well-done black and white image is always engaging.

you should also look out for the horizon and other straight lines in the image which you can play around with. when the ground is in the image, i always find it best to have the ground level (you can use the virtual horizon in the camera). but when taking just the buildings, you can match various straight line in the scene to the lines in your viewfinder and see how it turns out. there'll be that one line which will fit v nicely.
