I'm curious what lens were you using.. seems like a fixed 50mm? nature photography? try national geog or outdoor photography magazine. Your nature shots remind me of portrait shots just that no subject.

Try to re-arrange your pictures so that it becomes a story so use pictures that you have a story to tell.

from what i see, the pictures are kinda overexposed. Might want to use GND filter on a sunny day as well as learn to do bracket exposures.

after some ten mins editing, hope you dont mind.

Google for "rules of composition" - hundreds of pages available.
For examples you might want to look into the Landscape or World of Nature here in the forum.
Be more selective with your pictures. Ask yourself if you have captured something special (a special item, angle, light reflection etc.) or if it is just a recording snap. Skip the latter one, focus on less but really outstanding pictures. Main questions to ponder: What have you captured (main object) and why?

If you're into Photoshop, do look at 'Curves' and 'Levels' and 'Brightness and Contrast'. You don't have to use all three, anything that's to your preference.
These are enough to make your colours 'much nicer'.

Followed by a 'Crop' and 'Image Size'. Here you determine if you're going for print or web... which should have been planned from the moment you took the shot.

Assuming you're in windows environment, hit the 'F1' button on your keyboard, the search function in photoshop help file easily tells you the above functions' whereabouts.

Hope these helps. :D

Hi,

actually any image editing tool can get such effects.

i simply played with brightness level and contrast to get rid of the haze and enhance the colors.

If want to do more then need to go advanced but i find most pictures play with brightness and contrast will do the job.

however in case you get a picture which you think is plain, ordinary, boring and unusable..use effects to make it somewhat interesting.

Would you walk the path alone?
