need advice : Venue for photoshoot

hi all,

i am a newbie here.. eager to learn from all the pro here...
anyway, i am planning to do a photoshoot end of this month..
it's for my personal portfolio..
i am a freelance artist..
i will to conduct 2 shoot, one indoor n another outdoor...
and my problem now, i need a indoor location, plus i need to loan lighting to bring to the venue for my shoot..
as for the theme for my indoor shoot is more towards the haute courture feel.. so i need a bg with strong and rich colour with retro furniture which can bring out the luxury feeling..
i have been hunting around the boutique hotel, like majesty, 1929 and the scarlet... but their day rate for room is way much over my budget, the cheapest they offer is $170!!
my budget for the location include the lighting is only $200... so after the lighting, i have not much budget left..
so now the question is, any one have any nice venue to suggest???

You have oredi source around .. another option ?... change the 'feel' to something more readily available ... frankly, your budget is really small ... so lower your expectations

yes, its a challenge isnt it? Dont be despair... when you are able to pull it off compared to other photographers, you are one up.

i knw my budget is really too little
my options?
i rather push my budget higher than lower my expectations....
i will keep looking for venue, and if i LUCKILY source one, i will share it..
