need advice on Diffusion Dome!!!

not so sure is this the item i'm asking (cause nikon site no pic) but is a dome that you can attach on flash, very big and long one . just wondering what is it for ???

A diffusion dome diffuses the light from the flash to soften shadows and prevent the subject’s face from coming out too bright. When a diffusion dome is attached over the flash head, the dome diffuses the light even more when doing bounce flash, creating extremely soft light with virtually no shadows, while insuring sufficient illumination of the background.

Some of the diffusion domes dicussed in various threads in this forum are Lightsphere, Stofen Omnibounce, "Food Take-away plastic container" and Nikon Diffusion Dome supplied together with Nikon SB800 flash.

ya i think you got it right what i mean is Lightsphere.on the market there r 2 vision< 1 the 100% transparents and the other is white colour which is the same as the Stofen Omnibounce.
wondering what the different? and the price?

"Food Take-away plastic container" sound like a good cheap easy DIY thing.
can you tell me more.
