This is the best our composers can do? Which is worse?
Repeating the name "Singapore" ad nauseam in some of the old national songs. Or the above NDP 2013 song?
As a comparison, here are national songs of two different countries. Complete with lyrics.
Both are melodic with meaningful lyrics.
Note the absence of endless repetition of the country's name in the lyrics. No banal stuff like repetition of "wooh-ho-oh, oh,oh!"

Haiz... why low tolerance for spammers one. Ppl spam mailbox, kena blocked, spam at forum, post kena removed by mod, Now spam at song, kena blasted....

It started a long time ago. Got ppl laugh at the 1812 Overture played with actual cannon blast.
sigh... I was born in the wrong century, where all real artists has passed away.
