Here is some from nature with repeated patterns... a Romanesco Cauliflower.



Shot was taken at 1:1 magnification using a F100 and 105mm Micro-Nikkor mounted on the PG-2 Focusing Stage.

It was just by chance that I saw this on the shelves in the vegetable section at Sainsbury's. There was also a very short lead time for me to photograph it... my wife wanted it in the boiling pot to make a pasta sauce!!! ;)

Looks like something you'd see under an electron microscope. Like when you super-magnify your skin or something.
