Anyone knows which route (west, central, east) the leopards will be rumbling to after their display in City Hall?

Anyone? I'm interested as well. Gotta pick a day to rent some toys. Camera-less...:(

Is there like a guide to where public is OOB??? anyone from the ministry here??

Prior to the parade, the Red Lions will freefall into the Padang at approximately 1750 hours. Basically the parade will start at around 1800 hours. The whole parade sequence will take about 45 minutes which includes Fly Past (F-15 & F-16), National Anthem (Chinook with National Flag escorted by Apaches), Presential Gun Salute during GOH inspection and Presidential Drive Past). The parade will march off the Padang grounds and form up along Esplanade Drive for the City March. After the march past, there will also be aerial display of fighters, helis and other RSAF aircrafts. Following which, the mobile column (200 plus vehicles in total, with Leopard tanks leading the way) would roll across the Grand Stand and will last for about 10 minutes. They would also form up after that along Esplanade Drive towards Nicoll Highway to get ready to roll into the heartlands.

There will be low firing of pyrotechnics around Padang and surrounding buildings but the fireworks will be right smack in the middle of Marina Bay area. As of last week, the security was quite laxed but expected to be beefed up this Saturday. So decide what you wanna shoot and choose your spot carefully. :)

Hope this helps... :)

this info is what i already have

http://www.ndp.org.sg/articles_main.php?article=routesToHeartlands&id=heartlands

Now, i only need to know...which route the leopards are taking. I can't random choose one route, and can't get the photos i want. Hehe

So im trying to find out if the leopard contingent gonna split into three groups to go on all 3 routes, or only one route, and which route is that. :sweatsm:

Is there a website to search for information like the rehearsal dates and maybe the schedule of the programs?

Check out www.ndp.org.sg but no useful information there..

Yup, checked, pored through the videos as well. No mention of the info im looking for. Info only says the whole column will be splitting into 3 groups, which is obvious from all the info everywhere else, including asking on the ndp website and facebook ndpeeps.

I suspect the leopard contingent might be splitting into all 3 routes, so all heartlanders have a chance to see them.

How many leopards does Singapore have? :bsmilie:

The Singapore Army acquired a total of 96 ex-German Leopard 2A4s, including 30 spare tanks. Upgraded with additional armour to A6 standard in 2010 by IBD & ST Kinetics.

Hi,

As rightfully pointed out, Leopard tanks will be split into three groups for movement into the Heartlands. :)

Anything else anyone wanna know, I'll try my best to find out... :)

Hey Majestic, I do not know if that information is true or where you heard it from. I think you may want to remove that, before MSD comes after you. I think that's pretty classified. It's not a good idea to place it up there. Unless this is what you have read. I dunno where you got the info from.

Hmmm I'll try to find out the routes for you. But for now, I know a pretty good place to take photos of the mobile column but for safety reasons and army stuff, I can't post it here, but yea it's not out of bounds to public but vehicles. Pm me if you really want to get photos of the column
