after saving liao it will be stuck there for good rite?

Nope. On your layer window, usually on your right, you'll find that the text is on one layer itself. Provided you don't merge the layers, you can do whatever you want with the text.

icic
i kinda got it liao
but how to change the colour?
cant seem to find the option to do it

The colour change option is in the text dialogue box. Double click on the text layer. There is this colour box which says colour at the side. Click on the box, colour pallettes appear. Slide the cursor around the pallettes till you get the colour you want. Press enter. Remember to highlight the font in the text dialogue box before you do the colour change.
