but seriously, why must think of names? National Stadium is good enough. It's not that giving fancy names will boost the local sport. But importing sports talents would. :bsmilie:

Agree. No need for fanciful names. If this is going to be our main stadium, than national stadium. Of course if there are sponsor, the halls or facilities can be named after them but the main building just national stadium

I thought they were going to let OCBC have the naming rights to the stadium? As long as they bring in the right events and the name doesnt sound too dumb like some of the German stadia, I'm sure we'd be fine.
