Hi ! All

Recently I had subscribe the fixed price broadband package from Pacnet ($47.50 per month)

However, my recently bills is like $55 ++ TO $68 ++.

This is dispite i have cancel the additional services after my 3rd month.

I have check with Pacnet staff and they mentioned its due to my additional usage at the Mcdonald with my wireless laptop.

I thought the usuage at Mcdonald is Free ? I bumped into my fiend yesterday who happen to be working at Singtel doing the Broadband sales.

And he says usage at Mac should be free

Any IT expert here can help to comment.
Thanks, bro.

errr ... wat I know is MacDonlad provides the wireless network .. but u still needs ISP to connect and this where the charges will come from .. :(

tell us your broadband package. Is it for ADSL? Is it unlimited? If you connect to McDonalds via wireless, McDonalds will be the one paying to Pacnet, not you.

Hi ! All

I subscribe to the ADSL 512 package at fixed price $47.50 / month.
At Mac, i connect thru the skyglobal, then surf web, check email

Oops . . its a unlimited 512 plan

Request for higher authorities, quote the words from the pacnet staff. Ideally with names too. Grrrr...

pacnet has a history with such charges. you have to put ur fist down on the table for this.
