Thanks for the warm welcome and the kind comments....

Anyway forked out quite a sum of money these few days as a few of my gadgets are down...inclusive of my portable hardisk....and even my compactflash card!!!! Stupid me...i forced it into the card reader and it created an extra "hole" in the CF card!!!! I hope I am able to retrieve all the pictures in the card...or my head will be rolling on the ground.........:cry:

Have been so busy lately!

I badly wanted to try out IR photography. Bought the filter Hoya R72 yesterday and took pictures this morning. There wasn't any scenic view from my place, so i decided to crop away the unwanted view and focus on the trees instead. So here...my first try on ir photography...

I'm sorry if I posted more than one photos a day... just got hooked to IR photography....I've heard that the kit lens bundled with EOS20D (18-55mm) is not a good lens for ir photography. But anyway since I'm hooked, I will try with any lens on...LOL! :bsmilie: I'm still new and need improvements in techniques. Anyway here are 2 more photos...

Earlier this morning my aunt just passed away. After the burial, my colleague and I had to do a recee at Camp Christine (Somewhere near the Scouts Camp / Sungei Gedong Camp). It was meant for a post exam activity for our students. The weather was terribly bad. Anyway I manage to capture a few shots on the way back. It was drizzling by then... here they are...it captures the essence of my feelings today...

I agree with you choo! The kelong itself is dark and what seems to be the focus here are the clouds instead of the kelong! LOL! (Criticising my own work! Haha!)

Well I was trying to steal shots in actual fact. Was doing a recee for my students' camp again yesterday afternoon. I was supposed to take pictures of the camp site but ended up taking photos for myself!!!! HEHEHEHEHE!!!!...and acted as if I'm taking photos of the campsite....LOL! 'Someone' was kind enough to wait for me (thinking that I'm filially doing my work for the school)...Well yeah I was...but hey...just can't resist it when you see something nice... unfortunately...like I said...trying to steal shots and was doing it in a hurry! Haiissss.... will definitely go there back again! Nice feel of a countryside!
