mmm..the wedding curve not every situation can use one leh... it depends a lot on the location.... be careful when u use that as ur built in curve.. i would suggest u use the "normal" curve to shoot first, then tweak it later to ur needs in photoshop..

your gears are ok, except that 1gb is too small. For D70 in raw mode that is only abt 180 photos... i recommend u to try to rent a 4gb..

nono....cannot say which curve is better, as there is no such thing as the best curve.. u take the photo first, then at home use the photoshop and apply the wedding curve, sreala curve, and watever curve to see which one turns out the best.. and also manually adjust the curves thereon.

Wedding leh...if i m in ur shoes, i will definitely take raw... Hence i suggested a 4gb card minimum..

if take jpeg, and u realise the surrounding lights too orangey and u wanna tweak it, u will realise that details are gone after that..

And btw, some of the curves such as the white wedding curve, they tend to shift the curves upwards a bit, to make the pic in a sense "brighter". If the location where u shoot got a lot of spot lights, or is very bright, u can expect ur pic to be severely over exposed...

this is why not all curves is suitable in all scenarios, and u need to refine it..

And lastly, sad to say, there is really no such thing as recommended setting. We dunno about the lighting there, the location, and u can't bring studio lighting there.... we really cannot recommend u wat settings to use..
