My Newbie Shot : Westcoast

this is a noob shot i took at west coast in the morning.
Please feel free to comment on any flaws or improvements...

Hi Fatfish,

I think the composition is great, I like the way the boats blend in with the merchant ships behind, manage to contrast. The boats blend in with the clouds too. If I am not wrong, u should be using a Olympus C-5050 right?
Overall, nice job.

1 advice when taking landscapes...
The horizon must be horizontal.... Unless it looks better when it's not... A tilt will actually make the photo look worse.

Also the colour seems to be too blue... Try using a photo editing software to change it...

yeah I realised it was slanted..... thanks for enlightening me. BTW you mentioned about editing it....erm how would you have edited the picture?
