My New Toy.

Hi Everyone,

I've sold my 3-year-old Lumix FZ50. It was a sad depart...but I wanted so much to try on SLR. Now, I am the owner of Canon 500D.

Appreciate any advise, hints to operate my new toy.

Yes, m reading The Manual, and snappin shots at the same x.

Excellent choice.

In manual mode you should try the following.

1. Try to get familiar with getting the correct exposure by varying the Shutter or aperture size.

2. Try to freeze action or create motion blur.

3. Try to isolate the subject from background by using a smallest F number.

4. Try to experiment getting the sharpest picture using greater F numbers.

5. Go out and shoot non stop.

6. Try out the burst mode and AI servo with AF point set in the middle...

7. Enjoy!!!
