My first Photography Assignment

Hi Guys, I was given the task to capture one of the outing for Central Singapore CDC last Sunday. Below is the link where you can see the photos I've taken. I need your general comments for further improvement.

Hey if you don't mind providing free services for CS CDC, there are lots of event that you can practise your skills, and get to be posted on their website too.

There will be an event coming up this Sunday at Sultan Mosques, I will be going there too, but I hear this time they are hiring the professional services. Coz Mayor Heng will be there as Guest of Honour. They cannot afford to get lousy photos when major GOH is present.

then I will give you the details, as you need to be brief because we will be entering a mosques.

great work. would prefer to have some mixture of
- closeup portrait ( candid or pose )
- closeup of objects like helping hands or things they do
- better flash exposure for group shots

Normally how many photographers they need per event?

Normally how many photographers they need per event?

They need at least one photographer for each event.
There is no specific indication of the maximum numbers of photographer for each event.

For events like mural painting, its open to public, so anyone can go there to take photos. But for other close doors event, you will need to be a volunteer of CS CDC to participate.

If you would like to have your photos posted on their website, you can let me know and I can help to compile them and sent it in for them to upload.
But not all photos will be selected to be posted on their web. It will be selected by CDC's Publicity division.

It was my first assignment so abit lost...

at times too many actions happening at the same time, so don't know which one to catch first. Still not very quick in the control on my camera, need more practise.

He is one of the staff at the old folks home.

I saw him in a very nice position, so quickly squeeze a few shots.
Simply "Bo Chap" style!

Just completed my 2nd assignment at Sultan Mosques on Sunday.
Will be posting some of the photos after sorting them out later today.

Met another photographer there too. Wa... he was good.
Very serious and professional, unlike me, I always taking candid shots only.
