Hi all, have just registered on CS to join you guys in the world of DSLRs.
I have been using a compact camera for a few years and was encouraged by friends to get a DLSR when they saw the photos I took.
I have done some small research and handled a colleague's camera and found the Canon 60D to be a comfortable camera for me. (The 550D feels small in my hands)
Personally I like to take landscape, pictures of animals and insects, however, I as I am just starting, I would like to use the lens in the kit until I have the budget to buy better lenses.
I would like to know, are there any differences (other than the reach) for the kit 2 and 3 lenses (18-135mm and 18-200mm) and which ones should I get.
Also, is it better to get it in funan now or wait till the IT show where they throw in more freebies? (I can't remember but I think I saw one show they gave a dry cabinet ). They also have purchase with purchase. What kinda of better deals can I get in funan that I can't get during the show?
Sorry for the long message.
Thanks in advance.
