Hi just got a photo of some bird standing on a road sign while travelling around.

Please comment on the photo and if someone is good with birds, please help me identify this bird. Cheers! :bsmilie:

Yup! I was in Hua Hin with my parents on a business trip when we drove by this bird standing on a sign board... Luckily i had my camera and snapped a few shots of it and found this one the best one...

Thanks flaemer for identifying the bird for me... I can take the bird, but not know what it is...

Anymore comments of the bird anyone? I would appreciate if some of the bird photographers out there could help too! Thanks to all!

Cheers! :gbounce:

Cute Copsychus saularis.... think calling it using its binomial name is more appropriate.

Very nicely done, looking forward for more.

Hi, I had the following set up:

1) EOS 300D with BG-E1
2) EF 300 f4L IS USM
3) A few birds posing (Just kidding!! :bsmilie: )
4) A lot of patience... (Apparently the birds here did not! They kept flying away so I had to stalk them and hunt them down like errr... birds! )

Yea... That's it! Who said the canon 300D and 300 f4L IS lens is bad? hehe...

Anymore comments anyone? would like some advice! Cheers! :bsmilie:
