Good job but sorry to say this for the particular drawing above.

1. What's with that black patch on the bow tie? You want it brown or black?
2. Where's the contrasting factor between the neck to his body? His shoulders totally blends into your background. It look as if he lost his neck.
3. On his left arm, there's no shirt folds. It looks like a chunk.

Sorry for the harsh critics but IMO of an art student, these are important factors. I bet I got harsher critics than what I had given here.

The shadow doesn't work. See the almost identical symmetry of the bow.

More practice is needed. Keep working and never stops. :)
