Multiple entries to "borrow or rent" IXUS 400

There is a multiple entry to borrow or rent IXUS 400.
I counted at least 4 different forums. Maybe I sense something is not quite right.
Suddenly CS is besieged with requests to "rent" photo items for last 2 weeks of Dec.

Both from new members who came out of nowhere. Never seen their posts in CS before.

See my reservations about it in reply to "indian" who wanted to rent a Bessa.
Is CS pool of members being targeted as a "soft target" easy to pluck and con in this season of giving.

I have no proof either way whether it is ok or not ok. Anyway, beware.
