not bad.. the scanlines are visible but only slightly

150 I think. It's a HP PSC500.

This is from another angel. I think the background is over exposed. And perhaps too cloudy a day? Any solutions when taking photos on cloudy days to bring out colour saturation?

would metering off the sky but focusing on the canoes with a bit of fill flash help here??
