[MSK] Pasir Panjang Wholesale Market 31Mar2012 (Sat)

Meet 1030am at Haw Par Villa Station, on 31Mar2012.
This wholesale market is open Monday to Saturaday, not open on Sunday..
We will go over to opposite Har Par Villa and move 1 bus stop to the wholesale centre.

Will try to end around 1pm+.
For those with extra energy we can shoot Har Par Villa after this.

*We will wait no more than 15 minutes for late comers.
**Please wear proper food wear.
Please bring water bottle & rain gear.
Tripod optional

Wet Weather program:
There are shops and shelter there, but do bring your rain gear because there is still some walk between open area.

Below is image of the "kopi socks" hang out to dry, at the kopitam there after lunch...imagine all the vegetables & fruits in Singapore go thru this place...the volume of vechicles & people moving in & out of this place during peak hours!

There are a few well stocked Vegetarian & Organic food item stores. which you guys can purchase some stuffs.
We can have lunch at the kopitam there.

Visited this kopitiam for tea during outing at Haw Par Villa last year...

Somehow just wondering...why they need so many socks?

was wondering too...think the kopi or teh residues would clot up the pores of the "socks"
so for fast turn-over, to cater to sheer massive number of customers they would need more socks...
how to keep cleaning the socks & let customers wait...

What time roughly reach Haw Par Villa? Can meet up since i will be in the area. my contact still the same.

i don't check back on Clubsnap forum when i am out. btw the outing was short & sweet, we wrap up after lunch (around 1pm)
didn't proceed to Har Par Villa, due to the rain.

btw...i screwed up, missed the Fruit Distributors section of the wholesales market!
maybe make another visit there later this year~
