Moving pictures in ClubSNAP

CS is successful. Lets face it.

It started with several photographers of the nicest intent, a forum, a central spot for Photographers to gather. Based on word of mouth, searches and so on, CS is one of the most successful Singapore based forum for photography. When people talk about Singapore, when ppl put in Photography, "Clubsnap" is almost synonmous with it.

With this, HWZ spun it off with their massive user base and kicked off Photoi with a bang. Given the traffic size of HWZ, its little wonder that Photoi evolved from a free magazine to PhotoVideoi.

Given all the advertising ads, 'advertiser status', etc, its no surprise that the original Photography forum had diversified and eventually commercialise itself one of these days. If it carries on at its current pace, a CS turning to the next HWZ is a 'soon or later' thing.

After all, ask urself this question, is it possible to even save up to a million bucks in ur entire life? ;)

If you notice, there's always a "Director of Photography" in movie films. It doesn't have to be "still pictures" and actually, movies are just series of pictures and it APPEARS to be moving. And actually video taking is way harder than photography and if anybody acquire a portion of video taking skill, it helps on the still picture portion too.

having the word "photography" in the title doesn't mean it has anything to do with still photography.
Maybe you can do a search on the net to see the duties of a DOP in the motion industry and tell me how much it is related to still photography.

cheers
