Taken this photo after the rain from my mum garden.
Process with photo shop, cropping and convert to mono tone.
Taken with tamron 28-75mm with 25mm tube.
Which one prefer picture? i or 2.
Critique welcome. Thanks ;)

prefer #1

btw your sensor needs cleaning
from #1 bottom left, is that a dust speck?

more dof would be good, at least get one drop in full focus

yea one's gotta be better...

Thank you ortega, namska & trigger happy for comment.

Ortega, nice to hear your comment again.
Has been out from club snap for almost 4 months.

You are right. You spot the problem with my lens. I dont even notice it.
Blur probably cause by handshake. Kind of tiring after focusing for awhile.
I also dont dare to breathe, scare all the dew will drop.
How I wish I have macro lens. Cheers ;)

a tripod would have helped with handshake ;)

#1's my choice. Great effect with the mono. Like the droplets of water shot this way - very creative.

Agreed with the rest.
#01 takes the cake. The rain drops look like little diamonds on a tiara.
Err.... what's the hair like thingy just behind the blade of grass?

Thanks trigger happy for advise.
Tripod not the most preferably equipment when I go shooting.
I find it troublesome. But sometimes, in this instance it will be useful.;)

Thanks Darnikon and Lion King for compliments.
I suppose this is a beauty of nature.
Until now I still not able to figure out how the dew can position itself nicely in this way.
I suppose the hair from the grass help to hold the dew.

Lion King, I think that hairy thing you mention is from the grass itself. :dunno:
