Triston Yeo: Making a Difference with Photography : Find Beauty Amidst Disasters
Many a times when disasters strike, the media will be rushing to cover all possible angles. After that, media will move on to cover the next "happening" disaster. Have you thought about the lives of the people affected by a natural disaster? Life still goes on for them but little information is being disseminated about them as media is not interested to talk about it anymore. As a photographer, could we all do something about it? There is much beauty to be found amidst the disasters and photography can be a powerful tool to testify the humanity in life.
