Hi peeps,

It's been awhile since i last visited here. I just came back from a short trip in Thailand and i shot this statue which i find it quite interesting.

I was thinking if i have composed the pic properly because of the colorful "ribbon" around its neck. Furthermore i've desaturated the background leaving the ribbon as the subject. I hope you can give me some comments on this picture that i've taken.

there is no real focus here.. mainly because the background is cluttered

also, i'm thinking the selective desaturation doesn't really add to the scene or convey any message

work on composition first, and the rest will follow
