Moire Patterns

ANyone knows how to using photoshop to remove the moire patterns that result when scanning magazine pages ? Last i know corel draw could do it, but photoshop anyone know?

Go download the trial version of Capture One DSLR from Phaseone, comes with a demoire plugin for PS7.

if the SW is installed and uninstalled will the plugin stay?

scan at a higher resolution, then resize it smaller. It'll disappear like magic.

Shouldn't the scanning software you are using come with a "De-screening" function?

i dont think the scanning software has descreening...crappy epson have to confirm

capture one dslr doesn't really work...tried n failed.

anyone more ideas?

Hey...my crappy epson has it!

Using Epson Scan 1.02A. Check if there is updated software for your model.

Flatbed scanner software usually come with descreening options.
