Paul_Yeo : yup .. correct! it's SMU campus. how you know? :)

night86mare : nothing happened .. it's just i don't have money to spend for buying a monitor calibration device :embrass:
yesterday when i edit the picture, they're looked a bit under exposed in my monitor, that's why i try to brighten up .. but in the end it only makes the pics even worse

The white balance for the background is terrrrrible.

No thought gone in to the wb of the flash and background wb.

I think it would be better if u loosen up the the framing. Too tight

You really have to be careful of your backgrounds.

The lights in the background of pic #1 are distracting.
So are the tiles in #2. And the patterns in #3.

The pin point catch lights in her eyes are just too dim to engage my attention.
The pics look bland - no oomph.

The first 2 are cropped too tightly, almost like to give the impression of nakedness....at the expense of balance.

hehe .. it is not my intention ok

the main idea why i cropped that way it's because of the background .. the orginal photo was not cropped that way .. it's a half body shoot .. but i found out that the background is too distracting, so i cropped it that way to eliminate the unnecessary background. anyway thanks for the comment Danntbt :)
