I totally agreed with u bro.... The rest of the replies are not friendly at all...

Even when I read it I feel like those guys are not even trying to help but just got nothing better to do and anyhow flame people.

To HXXX with them... I think Ibaru is just being straight and honest, no need to over react.

:(

If only the rest of you can provide reply like the one above, this reply has been the most helpful and courteous. Can't blame Ibaru's reaction anyway, cause the reply was downright rude. But then keeping cool is best option.Someone said in another forum of different hobby that this place is wonderful, not really. :thumbsd: Score in diplomacy is zero.

I think Ibaru could certainly be better. When others give replies that you do not find helpful or friendly, there is no need to get so worked up and start a war between you and the CS community. Ibaru should ask himself, how do I win them over to be more helpful and give me the help I want.

The purpose of him posting a question is that he wants answers. Getting angry and offending others will not help his cause? If I go for good model shoot, would I want a hot tempered person to shoot together with me? Ibaru could certainly do better with more impulse control.

Well, it certainly is no fun to photograph alongside a grouch.

But wait a minute!

Was Ibaru grouchy from the start? His first post was rather polite. So if I were not a grouch myself, would that be a problem? I mean, if I were polite and nice, would Ibaru have a reason to react in an unpleasant way?

It takes two hands to clap.

Problem is... there is not CORRECT answer to his query, which is why we all asked him to look for the answers himself. Is that wrong?

We won't shoot someone just for fun. It ain't fun anyway to be complained as unfeeling anyway.

No, you are not wrong to ask him to do a search.

But if you are right that there is no CORRECT answers, can he get the answers he wanted by doing a search? Are you not asking him to do something which you know will not give him the answers he was looking for? Why ask him to do something when you already know that he will not get the answers?

I am quite sure you are not shooting someone for fun. But then, things can turn out unexpectedly. Not that it is right or wrong. But they can turn out in ways most unexpected.

This is turning interesting yet again :) I suppose its fine if someone can get the answer through a search, but I still think its as I've stated in #24

both side also have their valid and invalid points.

however, he didnt gather enough supporters fast enough...

i pity him actually.

CSers are really too quick to fire off sometimes, me included.

well, juz feel that its easier to fire off at pple rather than others... but a little more self restrain may lead to a longer way...

For this i sincerely apologize for any previous 'mis-fires' :)

this is a photography forum, everyone here is to share knowledge related to photography, no one owe anybody a living.

ask nicely, you will get your answers, if you don't get your answers, think "why" first, could it be people don't understand your question? could it be you ask in a wrong way? could it be the answers is already right in front of you?

he is not asking who is selling the best chicken rice, for this, anyone also can give him their answers, moreover the chicken rice sellers are not gonne read the post here.

he is asking which model shoot is worth joining, how many CSers ever join all the model shoots? and who can give a very honest feedback openly? bear in mind that all the organizers also reading this forum.

so the best way is to study all the model shoots, see what he likes, which is more suitable for him and join.

if the TS still reading this thread, hope he can learn something from here.

i agreed... He did ask nicely, I tried asking the same thing some time ago. But all I get is nonsense, no helpful feedback at all.

Those people are just selfish and just wanna find something to say. They can't even tell u anything constructive.

To me, ibaru just wants some feedback.. Does'nt really matter what u feel or who u support. He just want to know what are the things to look out for. Exact same thing I was asking for, but those AXXHXXES just have to be nasty.

They should be the one who are de-registered..

Burn in HXll to them all..
