Depends on which side, and if there are lots of foreign/construction workers nearby, and osos haw beeg is yr group of able-bodied (and can fight) guys.

eh ... but yoush ees toking bling moller der, or go der for Mysian organised moller hoot?

size of the group & person concern does not make the odds better- being safe. in a foreign land. how well does everyone in that group know each other, this determines/guages how a member will react under duress. in a loose group, my guess is that each individual reacting differently puts the whole group at risk. the grouping of lux cars travelling in convoy did run into trouble along the way not too long ago, safety in numbers?

then bringing the topic of familiarity to the location itself, JB isn't small, which part of JB is it? how un/safe a place can be depends on luck (or element of chance/probability). being somewhere at the wrong time, wrong place makes a world of difference. even in Sg, oso got daylight robbery.

to Redstone, wad safety measures have you taken? don't forget Murphy's Law.

only CPL Dave Teo walk around Orchard & Geyland with a rifle in a bag, Sg robbers never carry samuria swords & pistols like their counterparts across the Causeway do.

Its not those street muggers that you should be afraid of, its the organized crime. The gangsters have many resources at their expense, you have car they have lorry, you have people they have more, you have tripods they have guns. So do anything at your own risk.

Seriously they should do something about the crime rate there. Or had ST all the while been reporting the bad stuff or are the statistics really that bad?

did u realise the flashlight (Inova T1) can be use as an impact weapon? just like a kubotan! but is last resort...

avoiding trouble is much better than having to fight your way out of it, and in that respect awareness and the ability to read your surroundings and the people in it are every bit as important as the ability to fight.

Lol, how to use that? Hehe...

Or get a heavy enough tripod?

just hold hammer fist style loh.

who 1 2 use tripod to fight, big & heavy 1s slow u down, light 1s CMI. using tripods as a weapon (aggresive/defensive) as an effective weapon is a myth. not to mention costly. :sweatsm:

One time we booked an armoured car to go to JB to shoot models, nothing happened to us.

the 400 f2.8 would make quite a hefty baton. :D

you could of course set your flashes to maximum output when the 'pilot flashing'. You would then have a very good blinding equipment before you strike him with the lens. :D
