With the current wave of modern mobile warriors, I just want to know
how many would care to define what a 3G phone is all about?

Seems people are talking about GPRS, GPS etc., what are all these
terms? Am old nut even though I owned a Motorola "tie kor tie" in
the old days. But the modern mobile phone and its technology got
me into hay wired!

How many of you are using GPRS and have you got to pay for it?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

 :)

I'm with Starhub. Using the GPRS, every 100 kb downloaded, it cost $1.

It's an expensive experience personally for me as I've downloaded the zapcode jar file and entered the Sony Ericsson zapcode contest. My total download file size came to 809 kb and I've to fork out $8.09 for the 3G/GPRS charges.

There is now 3.5G/HSDPA(High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) but it's all about price.

Thanks for the info pal.

Phew! that is really goodies not for me at the moment.
Saw the ad that would have convinced many to experience
the zapcode. Later sweat when asked to pay almost ten
bucks for 3G/GPRS charges!

Starhub or any other ISP, do they have different charges?
What about using MMS or download ringtones including
getting the Toto result, still have to pay isn't it, and how
much to pay? :(

How bout M1?im using it.Pay $10 a month for 10mb i tink so i use it frequently.:)
