Food at Vivocity is always so overpriced at the foodcourts. Typical tourist attraction
Actually that is not quite true. They don't exist on at high brows locations like that only.

What was ordered is not really a Yong Tau Foo stall but one of those that sell the Chinese version of Indian "rojak" if I named it correctly. YOu know where you pick up various stuff (like yong tau foo) and then they go and deep fry them and you might add some fried meehoon..etc.

This kind of stall has been busting wallets for decades!! heheh And most are very smart in the way they either dare not put a price list there or they pricelist is very confusingly places...thus picking the wrong food is like walking through a field of deadly mines hahah.

I got caught with my pants down a few times. Just when you thought you picked some of the lower or mid priced items..it turns out that some of them cost a heck of a lot more!

I eat this like once a year just to see if they still playing this game of "lucky draw food" I normally notice alot of them don't last long or will change location. I think when people wise up no one will patronise them thus they move.

You mean those Ngoh Hiang Bee Hoon store issit? I go for those that display the prices, then pick those I like, calculate them and send in for frying. If they overcharge, I start questioning! :)

you mean like people who kena carrot because never do homework ah?
no lor

talking about exponential prices

i mean, if one maker can produce a camera with similar features to another, but charges 1/3 the price, you know there are carrots being chopped

quality to price.. but i guess that's the way the world works, always has been and will be
