Does anyone here use mirror lenses? I haven't been able to find any on sale here, but they look like a cheap alternative to the standard telephotos.

TCW has one on sale. It is not very popular now though, and that's why you can't find it.

yep, there are 3rd party mirror lenses with Nikon mount (the said lens at TCW has an universal adaptor) or even 1st party 2nd hand Nikon mirror lenses.

Price? It depends on the quality. A 7-8/10 should cost around $250-300. Be warned that mirror lenses have a fix aperture (not fix maximum aperture) and are manual focussing...
