dear all, what does the minimum apperture lock on our 50mm lens means huh?

when using the lens on AF cameras, you have to turn the aperture to the minimum ( f22 ), and lock it with the lever. you have to set the aperture on the camera.

'FEE' will appear on the camera if minimum aperture is not locked.

hi...jus would like to know how come when i set to manual and turn the aperture ring the lcd still turns FEE even though i locked the lens at minimum aperture upon fixing the lens...can clarify? thanks
 

Do a search in Nikon subforum, I've explained it at least 3 times there already.
