Is anybody familiar with purchasing mileage tickets?

What are the terms and conditions that comes with this typye of tickets?

Do you get boot-out first if the flight is full? :dunno:

you mean exchanging a ticket with your accumulated mileage? I know for SIA, once you got the ticket you are confirmed, no other paying customer after you will replace you for the seat.

not so sure about the other airlines though

I'v been using mileage ticks for my family....easy as 123. Just get the points ready...you can call them or go to the SIA reservation place in Paragon....

Well..some airports or country requires airport tax etc...so its case by case.

You could just use points via web redemption too.

i think still can change.. but have to pay some penalty.. maybe like S$50 or 5,000 mile or something.

If you already redeemed, u already have an e-ticket so they can boot u out. Only case if the flight is overbooked and u check in too late. in that case, they either bump u up or let u take the next flight if i am not wrong.

get an e-ticket, if you go to Paragon, you have to pay charges,don;t ask me why, this probably only happens in Singapore
