i like this statement:

well I guess it'll hit home when MS closes that line of business and that team of developers and software writers can thank their colleagues of other business line for the pink slip.

Microsoft are just sore that they haven't managed to totally dominate that market segment like many others. When the word 'microsoft' doesn't get the customers in they don't know what to do...
