MF Lens for Canon S5 IS?

In case, you have not realise, the S5IS cannot has its lens change, it is not a DSLR. I don't understand what did you mean by 3rd party MF lens fo S5IS.

The S5IS is a prosumer cam. Cannot change lens only can add Wide Angle or Telephoto Lenses, via an adapter that is attached to your cam.

just like its poor entry cousin, who can take on wide angle, telephoto, close up lenses, via an adapter that is attached to the cam :bsmilie:

By the way, I went to Alan Photo @ sim lim to look for wide angle lens,
the sales assistant recommend me Vitacon Wide Angle 0.5x(58mm) lens with Macro.

How does it works?
The Macro lens is attached to the wide angle lens.. so weird..

Is that good?

Nope, not a good lens ...
