Hi everyone,

Mountbatten CSC Dragon Boat Team is planning to hold an event on 16 Dec to commemorate our 5 deceased dragon boat friends. With the support and assistance from SDBA and other interested dragon boat & kayaking teams, our plan is to hold a simple memorial service in conjunction with the 5th SDBA Master Series at the Bedok Reservoir.

Programme
1) 8 to 8.30am: Gathering of dragon boat teams to sign on a symbolic quilt / commemorative book to be placed at SDBA
2) 8:30 to 9am: Address by a GOH & other speakers
3) 9am: Observation of 1 min of silence
4) 9:10-9:30am: Symbolic paddling with reps from the various clubs
5) 9:30am onwards: Commencement of 5th Master Series

In conjunction with the event, there will be boxes available for all present to make donations to help families of the deceased. There'll also be a section to display some of their pictures, personal articles and memorabilia.

I dont think it would be nice to take pics of ppl in this kind of situation..though it would be a great place for black and white photos
