I did a road trip with my friends from brisbane to sydney and then melboune.
Some photos from Melbourne and the famous 12 Apostles. the weather in melbourne is pretty cold and overcast most of the time.

u should have chose a better time to visit Melb (esp summer). Summer sky is beautiful and only occasionally overcast, but it can be really hot!

Oh by the way did u try the chopper at 12 Apostles? It's really awesome to view it from the top, but it's very expensive. think it's A$40 for a mere 7mins.

The best time to go there is during Spring. Should be Sept to Dec. How I miss my melbourne days from 96 - 97. It was a carefree lifestyle then. I hope to go back there someday when $$ approves.

Yup, i experienced >40deg in Melb during summer. But i wasn't perspiring like hell. Air is not as humid as Singapore, and wind is cool...

for all the shots here i used a EF 28-70mm F2.8L on a Canon EOS 10D.
i wished i had the 17-40mm F4L or the 16-35mm F2.8L!

Yup, i experienced >40deg in Melb during summer. But i wasn't perspiring like hell. Air is not as humid as Singapore, and wind is cool...

oh yeah.. i dun even perspire when i play soccer! how cool is that? lol... but summer!? no man my sweat just drips..

even the contact lens is hot, the shower foam is hot the toliet walls are hot. only the water is more cooling! my god!

I disagree... The best time is early autumn in oh... Mar/Apr, just before or after Easter. The weather would be cooling but on the warm side instead of Spring where the weather tends to rain and turn cold or summer where the weather is scorchingly dry and hot and with the mercurian weather.

Nice shots of Melbourne - like the night shots #5 and #13.

#8 is a classic shot of the apostles.

Spring in Melbourne is nice - although it can still rain a bit, and I get hayfever with all the pollen. Autumn is a great time for photos, 'cos the air is cool and crisp in the mornings with lots of sunshine and wonderful colours with the foliage.

wow.. reminds me of my mel trips many years ago.. it was this trip that made me go serious into photography as a hobby of cos...

Went there during spring and it was fantastic, saw double rainbow while going to yara valley. Remember there was demostration there in mel on the WEF meeting...
