MBS dealers told not to take MC during CNY - is that fair?

This is worse than army, at least in SAF if we work on holidays we get day off.
MBS not only don't pay their staffs OT or double pay, they forbid their staffs to take any MC and even threaten them on the consequences!
My friend who works there as a dealer says his leave has been blocked from Feb till July.
And I doubt our MOM can do anything about it.
 

I think MBS deserve to be boycott for their stupidity.

You mean, it's not in the contract or anywhere?

If you join a company with such top-down approach, then you should have done it with your eyes wide open... If you join already, never read your contract, never find out more about the company, and better still, never raise any issue if they changed it afterward (if this was the case here)...

I mean, there has to be a reason why people still want to work there. You have to wonder about the flip side of the story.

They should have just have a few workers on standby during this period......no need to push around people, what an HR stupidity, now the staff don't trust their bosses anymore, how smart can they be?

Happy workers usually leads to better service and this leads to more customers.......

MOM can do... but.. but...but... our MOM is stand on companies side to screw the peasants one...
 

If there are employees who 'cao geng mc', then catch those trouble makers.
U don't punish the whole flock because of some individuals.

MBS Hr policies really sucks..........You mean they cannot do anything else but to resort to this enforcement........Ridiculous........

Can the authorities do something about this enforcement???

A sick croupier on duty will be a worse outcome that just spells trouble......

Who is the Head of HR in MBS? Dont they teach him how to manage for such situations......

Simply feel angry for; and sympathise with those genuine MBS dealers who are really unlucky to get sick during CNY days

USE THE STICK WAY = NOT ADVISEBLE

USE MORE REWARDS = THAT SHOULD BE THE WAY
 

their head of hr is a female ang mo. so much for foreign talent! the reported rumblings of dealers are telling. unionisation for them? as in rws.

It'll be interesting if a case of H1N1 or SARS or something similar occurs there and BECAUSE of their HR practice of no MCs allowed, an outbreak occurs, how are they going to explain to HPB or CDAC especially the family members of the patients...

Unfortunately, most people have forgotten the hard lessons we learnt during SARS...

Money before social responsibility... Oops, I forgot, it's a casino... Where got social responsibility???

Anyway, happy CNY! Huat ah!

if got flu... just go back to work and spread the good stuff lor. then once CNY ends... everybody can take MC en-masse ;)
 

Simple lor u don't allow me to take mc, it's good luck to the casino business & guests' health lot. I know for sure will not be able to work - so plenty of mistakes, who lugi? Casino only mah.. Guest sure happy - but may fall sick after that!!!
 

Its ok. Just go back to work. Trust me, my dept once nearly 40% did not report to work due to influenza spreading (not common cold). Let it spread loh....
You don't have to be running a fever to spread influenza!
