Below are shots taken at the May Day Carnival at Esplanade a few hours ago. As I know those who were there will focus on the fireworks, I thought I'll put something different here.

Sure.... Actually meant to put the Exif but forgot. Camera used is the Canon EOS 300D with the 18-55mm kit lens. Flashed used (*see note below) is the Sigma 500Super DG handheld and manually exposed.

Wow, the #2 pic is great. His face is so clear and can still see circles of flame. What were the settings pls?

everytime i think i know how to use my camera, i'll come across pictures like these and realise that there is whole lot more to learn.
