Was in Maui for business and decided to take a half-day trip up Mauna Kea, the tallest mountain in the world measured from base (under the ocean) to the peak.

I took a short flight from Maui to the Big Island (Hawai'i) - about 30 mins, and took a scheduled trip up Mauna Kea which lasted from 1425 hrs to 2230 hrs. The tour operator is Mauna Kea Adventure Tours (you can google for more info). Of course, I didn't have time for the volcanoes. Maybe next time...

nice series bro, seems like visiting the islands around Hawaii is a must! i myself have only stopped over in Honolulu for a couple of days.

Indeed! Something tells me I will be back there again for the volcanoes. :)
