After so many hunting of dragons, finally i've manage to hunt down a pair of mating dragon and a close up of Orthetrum sabina. After chasing the mating dragons using crawl, prone, jump, stand, and squat, decided to give them a "private" time and i went home happily. :)
Enjoy!

As usual! Handheld, 70-200f4l + 25mm ext tube attached on 10d! :D
;)

not bad... ^^

1st shot: next time, try tilt your camera a bit.

Good catch there y0ngcheng. As mega had suggested, try moving your lens such that its parallel to the plane of the mating dragonflies (i.e. wings of the uppermost dragonfly point directly at you), would improve your shot that way. Keep shooting.

thank you garion and sonix. will imrpove my shot next time round.

sonix : juz realise that amk wp got alot of this and not in sbg lol. but they're very very very very active

Suggestion: Bring a lot of stick... put near the pond sure all the dragonfly will stop by.

But don't use my monopod... heng ar.. i took my monopod liao hahaa

okayy..FINALLY..u got it! it's nice..bud well..hope u can catch more of mating dragonflies and thn show us de improvements! jiayou! :bsmilie:
