Hi all,

If you are interested in getting the tube adapter for FZ-20, PM me.

This is the price we will be getting if:
1) order of 5 or above: $18.5 each
2) order of 10 or above: $16.5 each
3) order of 20 or above: $14.5 each

All prices in US$. Not sure of the shipping costs but definitely overall will be cheaper than just buying one.

Request close at 7th October 12 pm. ;)

It can use 62mm and/or 72mm lens. Whereas, Panasonic original adapter uses 72mm lens only.

One thought though, is 62mm a standard thread size for lens?

I am not familiar with all these adapters. Excuse me for my ignorance.
Shall I expect the following advantages? -
1. I can use this tube instead of the original lens hood adapter and put on 72mm UV filter, and can still fit into the original FZ20 soft case.
2. I will need it to attach those 62mm TCON17 teleconverters.

Hmm.... don't think 1 is possible! However, yes for 2. Beside it's metal, so stronger to hold your long one. But then, for 2, you will have to use 62mm filters if you fit 62mm Tcon.

Hope I am not wrong! :embrass:

For me, I just want to know whether 62mm thread is standard to most filters and lenses. Is it easier/cheaper to find/buy 62mm filters and lenses than 72mm?

62mm is very standard thread size.
big size (72mm) = expensive filter.
smaller size (62mm) = less expensive filter.

Like to order one piece too.

Can you also get the 62mm center grip cover and the 62mm petal hood? If possible, order for me as well.

Thanks

As shown in this Taiwan site, the various lenses u can use - 62mm or 55mm by using a 62-55mm stepdown ring.
